A global business and leading producer of mechanical pipe joining flow control & fire protection solutions for the most complex piping applications.

This incredible opportunity is seeking a talented Supply Planner, a team player who is IT / Tech savvy, possessing an eye for detail, driven to succeed, seeking a varied, challenging and rewarding role! 

ABOUT THE JOB:

Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager this position is divided into 3 main areas:

Supply Planning:

You will support the Business in understanding, predicting and managing inventory through historical data and forecasting information, ensuring a good balance of inventory levels are achieved to support the customer; gathering, analysing and using quantitative methods to identify opportunities, resolve problems and develop recommendations to drive continuous improvement. 

Operational Support:

Being a key support to the business, you will assist with operational reporting and the development and maintenance of measurement metrics.

IT Support: 

Being the IT champion for Australia, you will provide support and promote any IT related improvement projects or initiatives.

DO YOU HAVE:

  • Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in a similar Supply role or Data Analysis, Planning, Buying or in IT Support,  
  • University degree, Tertiary qualification desirable,
  • Advanced Excel and knowledge of Microsoft BI is advantageous,
  • Strong business acumen, proven forecasting skills, a customer centric mindset,
  • Ability to influence stakeholders, confident and data driven, 
  • A positive attitude, able to work closely and communicate with sales and operational staff to balance conflicting demands,
  • Sound problem solving skills, enjoy working hands-on, with initiative,
  • Appreciates and understands the benefit of working together as a team, 
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, able to communicate with people on all levels,
  • Exceptional time management, attention to detail, ability prioritise,
  • Possess the ability to adapt to changing priorities and demands,
  • Exposure to WMS and ERP systems; SAP/M3 advantageous,
  • Be willing to learn, grow and develop in your role.
